The Portal to Cities was designed to reinvigorate confidence with rail mobility. Working with the marketing executive, my responsibility was to help design and deliver the Q4 2023 marketing plan. Whilst brainstorming with the design team, we opted for a more simple design consisting of lines, used to represent train tracks. Circles on the lines would be used as ‘train stops’ to break up large amounts of text and figures. Following the discussion, I took leadership in creating the branding which included the logo and iconography. Whilst the Midweight designer was designing a printed wall to be displayed at Talon’s London office, I was responsible for producing the presentation for the team to take to market. I cleaned up and transformed the templated design into a rail focused format, using the ‘train lines’ to connect the slides together. I also created 4 one-pagers which summarised key aspects of the PowerPoint, that sales representatives would be able to take to market and show to their clients.
