Description
Playbook Live was a celebratory event to highlight JCDecaux UK’s 40th anniversary. The event was a one-team collaborative process, involving both design teams (Agency & Partner and Branding & Client), marketing executives and members of the sales team. The Branding and Client team were responsible for creating a printed book which showcased what JCDecaux stands for, its values and impact in media, whilst the Agency and Partner team were responsible for curating printed assets for the event space. After the ‘Playbook’ book had been designed, I was responsible for kick starting the process by designing the ‘live’ logo. I wanted the type to look like it has been written by hand and remodelled a previous event sign from ‘Cisco Live’. I was then involved in assisting both the Design Lead and Midweight Designer, to design up the wall content selected from the book. The event space consisted of 10 sections showcasing its impact in the media and how JCDecaux is the top agency for Out-of-Home advertising. My main role was to design up window vinyls that would be displayed at the event entrance. This was a big achievement for me, not only being displayed live within the event space but it also being seen by the wider public. In addition, I was responsible for designing up a pop-up banner, for individuals to have their photo taken.
Following up from the event, I was also responsible for creating a wall print to summarise the 10 sections, that would be displayed at Talon’s London office.
